Mobile NFC Troubleshooting

Android
Android Devices
Enable NFC
- Go to Settings → Connected devices or Connections
- Look for NFC and toggle it ON
- Also enable Android Beam if available
Optimal Tapping Technique
- Find your phone's NFC antenna (usually center-back or near the camera)
- Hold the tag against this area for 2-3 seconds
- Don't move the phone until the action completes
iOS
iPhone (iOS 11+)
NFC reading is automatic on iPhone - no setup required. Just tap the tag to the top of your phone.
If NFC isn't working:
- Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 11 or later
- Try tapping the tag to the top edge of your phone
- Remove any thick cases or pop sockets
- Make sure the tag isn't damaged or demagnetized
